Exceptional Children's Department Budget Specialist

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years of college OR Three to Five years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of training/experience. Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Documents. 

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

12 month position, Pay Grade 65, Regular State Benefits

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Utilizes knowledge of accounting techniques and procedures.
• Manages EC budgets and processes purchase orders, contracts, etc. 
• Processes invoices, travel expenditures, workshop expenses, etc. 
• Maintains the EC staff lists and processes personnel change forms  
• Assist with budget audits, expenditures reports and grant reporting
• Monitor medicaid funding 
• Manage timesheets for EC staff 
• Assumes other duties as assigned by the EC Director
