QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Master’s degree preferred, licensed to teach in North Carolina, a minimum of 4 years of 6-8 or 9-12 classroom teaching experience. Strong collaboration skills and professional development experience.

 

TERMS: 

Beginning Date of Employment – 8/17/22

10 month Position, State Salary Schedule, Regular State Benefits, Local Supplement

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position is housed within the department of Curriculum & Instruction and directed by Assistant Superintendent - Curriculum & Instruction, Executive Director - Media & Technology, and the Principal. Serve as AIG contact for the high school. 

Activities may include:

 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

NC Teacher certification with experience in 6-8 and/or 9-12 Strong organization, management and leadership skills Strong foundation in development and delivery of professional development Knowledge of and desire to support the implementation of best practices; research based programs, and the Common Core and Essential Standards. Strong technology skills and successful experience in technology integration. AIG Certification
